Hi, my name is Jemma and I am lucky enough to be the proud godmother of Elsie Belle Kroschel. Our family was devastated when Elsie was diagnosed with a brain tumour the day after our wedding. After weeks of being dismissed my doctors for her daily vomiting Elsie was admitted to the Women’s and Children’s hospital and there they found the tumour that was pressing on her brain. Whilst they were able to successfully remove 99% of the tumour Elsie is now on the long journey of treatment to kill off the remaining cancerous cells in her brain. Currently Elsie is living away from the family at the Ronald McDonald House with her mum undergoing daily Radiotherapy and weekly chemo. The doctors have said treatment will go for a minimum of 12 months meaning her mum cannot work during this time. Everyone’s generosity during this time has been overwhelming and people continue to ask how to help so… I am starting this Go Fund Me Fund to assist the family during this time and give Elsie something to look forward to in the future. Her bucket list includes… Going on a plane Going in a helicopter Swimming with Dolphins Family holiday to Bali Camping with her family Feeding a Kangaroo on KI Hot air balloon ride Anything people can do to help our little girl would be amazing even if it’s $5 to help with petrol or food.
