Hello everyone, I am one of many friends here to support the Hochstein family and to share a bit of their story. They need us now more than ever. On July 15th, Dave and his wife Tabitha were in an accident. A truck pulled out in front them and Dave took the majority of the impact. They were both lucky to have walked away, home to their 3 daughters. However, Dave now has a broken Tibia with multiple breaks and fractures to his kneecap. He has had one surgery already to fix the broken Tibia using external fixation. The swelling is too severe to address the breaks in his knee at this time but he will be having to go back for more surgeries. Dave is the main provider for his family of 5. Due to the extent of his injuries, he will remain non-weight bearing to his left leg and unable to work for a minimum of 2-4 months. The amount he gets in disability is not enough to support his family and cover his medical bills. He has always put his family first and first person to step up for others in their time of need. He is not one to ask for help so we are asking for him. His family needs extra support right now whether it’s a donation, a meal, or just a positive message to get them through this very difficult time.
