1/1/2016 - THIS IS THE FINAL FUNDRAISER!!!!I STARTED THIS PAGE TO HELP MY DEAR PUERTORICAN FRIEND PAY FOR HIS MEDICAL CARE.  He is a role model to 5 step kids and loving friend who needs help to get treatment. A VETERAN WHO SERVED HIS COUNTRY. He has XXY syndrome, asthma, a rare blood disorder, heart problems,  and internal bleeding. Tests have been done on bone marrow. Doctors are using cancer treatments.His doctors plan to send him to California for heart transplant and experimental treatment.12/22/2015 - I was told the money to be paid by family, me, and the hospital will be sufficient for his first year of treatment.FINAL FUNDRAISER IS $1300 BY JAN. 6TH. This is to transport him by helicopter to the hospital in California. WE HAVE $525 LEFT TO RAISE AS OF 1/4/16!- He would still like to get his glasses for $275 so he can read. He has extremely bad eyesight. So thankful for God's Faithfulness and Provision :)___________________________________________________________HIS ILLNESSES ARE RELATED TO XXY SYNDROME -genetic disorder; creates increased risk of auto-immune disorders and cardiovascular abnormalities.1. Immune Thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) - rare bleeding disorder which causes low platelets.2. Internal bleeding 3. Immune system destroyed by treatment. 4.
