As a result of this tragedy, she is now in a minimally conscious state, akin to a semi-coma, fighting an arduous battle for her life. We are launching this LFEBridge campaign to gather the financial support necessary to provide her with the specialized care and rehabilitation she desperately needs. Dalal was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in hospital for two months immediately after the accident, and is currently in a Neuro-rehabilitation facility in Lebanon. She is currently breathing through a tracheostomy and is tube-fed gastronomically. Dalal was in a vegetative state for months, and is currently showing some signs of consciousness. She requires intensive rehab and needs to attend a special rehabilitation centre in Lebanon or Turkey. Since the tragic accident, Dalal’s medical bills have already accumulated over $200,000 AUD. Her husband, is now struggling to financially support her ongoing journey to recovery and is asking for your help and support. Dalal is a vibrant, loving individual who had just embarked on the journey of married life. She had dreams and aspirations, filled with hopes of building a future alongside her partner. However, this unforeseen accident has abruptly halted her dreams and left her husband, families, and friends shattered. While we hold onto every ounce of hope, we understand that her recovery will be a long and challenging process, requiring expert medical attention and rehabilitation therapies.
