Help Coach Saylor Bounce Back from Cancer!Coach Doug Saylor was diagnosed with stage 4 oral cancer in late September.  He has been junior varsity and assistant varsity basketball coach at St. Paul’s High School for the past few years, spending countless hours building skills and confidence of our boys.  Prior to his time at St. Paul’s, Coach Saylor was the Athletic Director and head Basketball Coach at Christ Episcopal School.  He is a loving husband to wife Liz, an amazing coach and mentor to our kids, and a respected member of our community!  Coach Saylor had surgery in early October to remove his cancer and reconstruct affected areas.  The initial surgery was 12+ hours long.  The surgeons were able to remove all of his cancer; however, complications with the reconstructive portion of the surgery required Coach Saylor to undergo two additional lengthy reconstructive procedures.  He is still facing additional surgery in the future, as well as mounting medical bills.  Coach Saylor has many family members and friends that want to help him and Liz absorb expensive travel and medical costs incurred during his fight to recover from cancer at Touro Medical Center in New Orleans, LA.  If you would like to join with family and friends who want to help Coach Saylor focus on getting better, then please consider donating here.  Thank you for your concern, generosity and continued prayers!
