Hello, my name is Tabitha and I am raising funds to help a loved one beat triple negative breast cancer. Cindy is my boyfriend's mom, and my friend. Back in April of this year, she was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative invasive breast cancer. In May, Cindy began her cancer treatment journey with chemotherapy. Once the chemo is finished, she will have surgery to remove the affected breast followed by radiation treatment to ensure this extremely aggressive type of cancer doesn't return. Cindy has worked her whole life to provide for her family and help her community, and although she has insurance through her job, she has met the limit on her chemotherapy benefits. Her medical providers have worked with her to lower the cost of her future chemotherapy treatments, since she will be solely responsible for covering their cost, but it will still cost her $640 out of pocket for each treatment she needs. Cindy has been trying to keep her head up and keep on working, but the chemotherapy makes it hard for her to work as much as she used to. Now that the future of her treatment is in question because of the exorbitant costs, it is even harder on her as she tries to force herself to work so she can afford to pay all her normal bills plus the cost of her treatment that is literally necessary to prolong her life, not to mention the stress and worry it causes her. I am hoping that we can raise enough money to cover the costs of her remaining chemotherapy treatments, so that she may go on to have surgery and survive this terrible ordeal without thousands of dollars of debt hanging over her head. I appreciate anything you can do to help Cindy beat this disease! I would also like to try and raise enough money to help cover currently due medical debt in the amount of $6758 and help with cost of her future mastectomy, so I have raised the goal accordingly!
