Hi. My name is Christina. I live with my one year old cat, Sir Dalton. Like many I am struggling financially, and have gone through an enormous amount of ups and downs and tragedies in life over the past few years. Having been laid off from my job during Covid, suffering through the back to back losses of several friends and loved ones, (including my boyfriend, and my cat of 17 years), contracting long covid which prevented me from being able to work for several months. All of this plus some has contributed to my financial hardships to date. I'm finally starting to get a handle on my grief and depression, but I am still not working full-time and am continuing to fall behind on bills. I have been applying for full time jobs and I take work when it is available, but it's not enough to pay all the bills. Yesterday I was served with a 3-day notice to pay my rent or I'll have to move out. I have no savings anymore; I've used up my 401k paying monthly rent, and had to use a large amount of it on the vet bills for my cat of 17 years when she got very sick and then had to be put down. I really don't want me and my new kitty, Sir Dalton, to have to figure out where to go next with no assets and no full-time job yet. I'm begging for help to pay my rent for July and August. If I can't come up with the full amount of rent for both months I will have to move out. I really never thought I'd be in a position like this, yet here I am. So much has happened in the last few years and I'm finally starting to feel like I can get back on track in my life and I pray and beg that I don't lose my home right now. Thank you for reading this. I appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thank you.
