Dear Family, Friends, and Community, This LFEBridge has been started to ask for your support for our 17 year old daughter Chloe Britz, who has been recently diagnosed with Medulloblastoma which is a highly aggressive form of brain cancer for children her age. On May 31st, 2024. After several months of being misdiagnosed after seeking medical treatment for excruciating headaches, dizziness, and other very uncomfortable symptoms it was found that Chloe had developed a large brain tumor that had also grew into her brain stem. Immediately, Chloe was admitted to ICU and scheduled for emergency brain surgery. After Chloe’s initial emergency surgery we still held on to the hope that the tumor would come back as benign or have many options for treatment. After several weeks that seemed like years waiting we received the devastating news that confirmed Chloe’s tumor was indeed malignant Medulloblastoma brain cancer. Chloe and our family have a long road ahead of us with a lot of uncertainty. We were unable to find a surgeon locally due to lack of medical technology and Doctors that specialize in the guided surgery she will require to beat this cancer. Treatment will begin with an additional surgery as they attempt to remove any cancer that was unable to be extracted on her brainstem previously. After she heals, there will be the stringent process of radiation and chemotherapy for a long but unknown duration of time. As you can imagine, this devastating diagnosis has unfortunately put a huge financial strain on our family and with having our daughter hospitalized for treatment in Tennessee there will not be much opportunity for work. However, with the bills piling up and the uncertainty of our future we are doing everything we can, but could really use your help during this debilitating time in our lives. Any amount that you can contribute would make a huge difference in our lives as we try to stay above water financially and provide Chloe with all the care that she will need. We humbly thank you for your heartfelt kindness and support during this time of the unimaginable. Please also continue to keep Chloe and our family in your prayers. Sincerely, The Britz Family
