Hello Everyone!My name is Carleigh Sales, and I am a junior in college. As some of you know, it is my dream to someday provide excellent care to patients through a career in dentistry. I have been working diligently towards my goal of an undergraduate degree that will lead me to a career as a dentist. Aside from school, I have always enjoyed volunteering, especially giving my time to others who are in need of a helping hand. I soon learned of Global Medical Brigades through my university. Over spring break 2016, I plan to travel to Nicaragua as a volunteer, aiding licensed physicians while they provide care to those who may not have access to doctors. Patients will have access to medical care, dental care, and information on public health.All money donated will be used to support the cost of my trip, including airfare and medicinal costs for the people of Nicaragua. The trip is scheduled for February 2016, and I am so excited. It means so much to me, that I have an opportunity to better someone's life who may need help.
