My good friend, Brynn Morris, feels like her life has been hit by a wrecking ball since the recent passing of her husband, Steve. Brynn says, “He was one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever known, “ After months of not feeling well Steve was finally diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, neuroendocrine. A neuroendocrine tumor is an umbrella term for a group of unusual cancers, which arise from neuroendocrine cells found throughout the body. When diagnosed, Steve had two tumors, one on his liver and one in his stomach. The doctors were hopeful, made a treatment plan to fight it, and Steve and Brynn put all of their time and effort into the fight. After just a couple of months, Steve encountered multiple complications and his condition went into rapid and turbulent decline. Tests revealed the disease had spread and after a few days in the ICU, his oncologist realized that treatment was no longer sustainable. He was moved to hospice, where he transitioned out of this life 24 hours later, on May 19, 2024. After caring for Steve 24/7 during his illness and treatment, Brynn finds herself deep in grief and trying to come to terms with the loss of “the love of my life and the best friend I’ve ever had.” Her grief is complicated by the loss of their only child several years ago. They’d both been job searching before Steve’s illness and had dipped into their savings. Brynn is currently medically unable to work. With no income and no life insurance, she is faced with medical expenses, mortgage payments, mounting monthly bills, and living expenses. Brynn hopes to be able to keep her house. If you can, please help Brynn regain her financial footing. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your help in this time of need, even a ‘Share’ helps. THANK YOU!! -Emma
