On behalf of my sister Brooke and her two young children Charlotte and Asher, I am organizing this fundraiser to help them pay for a funeral. Damon was the main source of income while Brooke took care of the kids and their home. With this being said, Brooke now has a car payment, a new mortgage on a house with a $20,000 plumbing issue and she cannot afford it on her income while raising two young children. On top of this incredible loss, we don’t want Brooke to have to suffer financially. Anything donated will help with funeral expenses, the mortgage, and necessities for Brooke, Charlotte, and Asher to try and ease the burden of the loss of her fiancé and the loss of their dad without worrying about food and bills. Brooke and Damon’s story starts over ten years ago, back when he was in eighth grade and she was in seventh. Back then, they never thought that they would go to their first prom together, buy a car together, bring their first daughter Charlotte into the world, buy a home, and bring their second baby Asher into this world. It was a blessing to watch their life grow over the years. On July 28, 2024 Damon tragically passed away in his home. We’d like to remember Damon the way everyone saw him, a fun-loving, line dancing, devoted father who “didn’t eat anything green.” Damon and Brooke’s families have been given an estimate on the funeral and it is entirely out of the budget. We are hoping to raise enough so Charlie and Asher can properly say goodbye to their daddy. Damon also deserves one last goodbye from everyone that loved him.We appreciate any and all help during this time.
