In April, Theresa, along with her sister, decided to leave her home in the Philippines and move to the USA to work as caregiver for ComForcare in Vallejo, CA. Unfortunately, after working for only 2 weeks, Theresa started experiencing severe headaches and dizziness and was rushed to the hospital. After undergoing several medical tests, she received the news that she has terminal brain cancer. This devastating diagnosis has left Theresa and her family in a state of shock as they try to figure out how to pay for the medical expenses along with dealing with the emotional turmoil. Theresa's husband, daughter, and mother remain in the Philippines, and they need to be by her side during this time. However, the financial burden they face is overwhelming and makes it nearly impossible for them to afford the cost of plane tickets to join her here in the United States. We are launching this LFEBridge campaign to raise funds to bring Theresa's family here to the USA so they can be by her side during this difficult time.
