Hi, this is Annabeth's husband, Andrew! After years of wanting a family, we were overjoyed to welcome our son Connor into the world on February 19th, 2024. While Connor is healthy, Annabeth suffered from numerous complications following his birth and has been unable to walk without assistance ever since. After numerous tests, we were told that she has permanent nerve damage and will need to be in a wheelchair from this point on. She is also constantly in barely manageable pain that affects every aspect of her life. Doctors believe she is suffering from Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Everything has become difficult, from getting out of bed to holding Connor in her arms. Annabeth is the strongest person I have ever met, and has always been a fighter. I am so proud of the resilience she has shown over the past months. We love Connor with all our hearts, and this has been an incredibly difficult time in the life of our new family. Annabeth planned to return to work in early April, but has been unable to due to the complications. She is unable to carry Connor or push him in his stroller. She has seen numerous specialists and our medical bills are continuing to pile up. We have been told that in addition to all of this, she will need surgery to implant a spinal cord stimulator to reduce the amount of pain she feels. If you are able to help us, we are asking for funds to help us cover the remaining cost of the wheelchair. Any additional funds will be used to go towards medical bills for her upcoming spinal surgery. All three of us would be beyond grateful for any contributions!
