Update Oct. 2024: Amanda has started CarT stemcell treatment. We are praying for no side effects and that it works on the leukemia. In January, Amanda was met with the scary news that she had breast cancer. She and her family cried some tears and then prepared for the battle and changes it would bring. Little did we know that by July she would also be diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. If you don't know Amanda she is the mother of five amazing children, a volunteer in her community, as a retired soldiers wife supporting veterans whenever she can, a girl scout leader, an amazing wife, daughter and friend to many. She has had to temporarily take leave from her work as a clinical social worker which has added extra stress during this already difficult situation. We would be grateful for anything you might be able to contribute, no matter the size. We understand that not everyone may be in a position to donate, but prayer, sharing this with your friends, family, and social networks can also greatly help. We sincerely thank everyone for your ongoing support and generosity in helping to relieve the financial burden this family faces. The funds raised will cover out-of-pocket medical bills, specialized treatments, travel expenses, and essential living expenses during this challenging time.
