Even a Widowmaker can't keep our dear friend Scott Allen down! On Sunday, July 9th, everyone's best friend Scott was rushed to the ER with chest pains. He hadn't been feeling great and was experiencing symptoms that he didn't initially recognize as a heart attack. Annie got him to Regions Hospital in St. Paul where it was determined Scott had the big one. With quick intervention, his medical team was able to insert a stent into an artery through his wrist. Scott was allowed to go home the following Tuesday. On Wednesday there was a slight setback and Scott was taken by ambulance to Regions again to get checked out. After a lot of tests, Scott was told his ticker was doing great but his body is adjusting to the unrestricted blood flow after the stent. The good news is Scott is home and doing great! He has the best wife ever by his side taking good care of him and reminding him to slow-the-f-down! ;) We are beyond relieved that Scott had a wonderful team of doctors, nurses, and emergency personnel working on him so he can keep rockin' for us all! The bad news... having a heart attack in America ain't cheap. While Scott and Annie do have health insurance, Scott being a full-time music industry professional and Annie a business owner, insurance is expensive, deductibles are sky high, and there are no days off work without lost wages as two self-employed people. Their health insurance deductible is $10,000 which they hit fast and of course, there will be some lost wages as Scott heals. We would love to be able to help alleviate his medical expense by putting a big dent in it. The last thing Scott and Annie need right now is to be worrying about paying for this. So this is a call out to Scott and Annie's community! The musicians, industry pros, animal lovers, friends, family, and everyone in between. Here's our chance to give back to Scott and Annie for all they have done for us... making us sound good, bringing us great music, taking care of our fur babies, and being two of the most genuine and caring people in our world. Times are tough but for those that can contribute to this hefty medical price tag, we would be incredibly appreciative. Even the cost of a cup of your daily joe is helpful... any little bit helps! Let's show Scott and Annie our love and take care of them how they have been taking care of us all of these years. Thank you all in advance for anything you can contribute, including love, light, and positive energy! Let's get Scott rockin' again! ❤️
