Hey! Anyone that knows me know that I hate to ask for help. Especially help financially. But My 20 yr old daughter who was thriving and healthy fell sick out of nowhere. She was misdiagnosed for months. Undergoing treatment; yet her health continued to decline. A’Toni has suffered from tinnitus in her ears, syncope episodes, nerve pain that radiates through her whole body 24hrs out of day, lost partial mobility in her legs, muscle weakness, balance issues, blurred vision, tensions headaches, tremors , uncontrollable eye movements and other cognitive issues. Due to her debilitating symptoms. She’s had to resigned from college, stop working and overall her whole life has been on pause for the last 7months. She has had multiple drs visits, seen by multiple specialists and on more than 30+ medications to treat her. After 7 months with no answers she finally got an MRI of her brain and spine. She was diagnosed with a congenital incurable brain condition called Chiari Malformation Type 1! Where the cerebellum extends(sinks)out of the skull and into the spinal canal, putting pressure on both the brain and spine. In correlation to this condition she has since been diagnosed with POTS syndrome , Vasovagal syncope, leukopenia & neutropenia, Anemia, mild brain damage to her cerebellum, a fluid filled mass in the center of her brain and scoliosis. Although the condition is incurable. A’Toni is in need of a decompression brain surgery that will not only alleviate symptoms; but prevent worsening of this condition. paralysis. We originally had plans of surgery in our hometown, however  this condition is rare and not many Neurologists specialize in Chairi. The Neurosurgeon she needs is out of state! Due to the unexpected shift in our original plans and insurance coverage we are unable to fund the full cost of surgery, additional medicals bills and travel expenses. It has been a very rough time for our family with all this going on. So anything will help. A’Toni and I are grateful for any donations and prayers given. Thank you in advance.
