Hi my name is Allison Jardine. I am making this LFEBridge on behalf of my cousin, Joann Scanlon. Many of you may know her as she was born, raised, and still living in South Berwick ME. Joann is a former veteran that served in the navy for our country. Unfortunately, she was critically injured in the line of duty. During 2024, her injuries led to her needing both of her knees replaced. (She had a total of 4 surgeries in one year.) The physical strain of these surgeries took a toll on Joann and has left her unable to work. For complete transparency, we have reached out to many places in Maine and have received financial help but unfortunately there’s only so much they can do. We are now coming to the community and asking for HELP! Joann is going to be evicted due to late lot rent if we don’t get her help immediately. This eviction process is the last thing she needs to deal with while enduring her physical disabilities. if you can not donate we completely understand and ask that you just share this story and link thank you Allison Jardine
