Ben Tydingco was on his way to work at 2:30 Friday morning when he was struck by a driver going the wrong way on the highway. His car was flipped upside down and totaled, but he was fortunately able to drag himself out of the back window and onto the side of the highway. Ben was transported via ambulance to Gritman, and is now home recovering, but in a ton of pain. When I asked Ben how the heck he made it out of the wreck alive, his answer was simple..."Angels". Due to his injuries, he will be off work for months, and their family could use some community support as he navigates his medical needs. Unfortunately, Ben has not worked at his trucking job long enough to qualify for FMLA, and insurance claims can take years to settle. Please consider donating to help Ben, Jess, and their two little girls. Ben is the neighbor who will give the literal shirt off his back. He's the first one to introduce himself to someone he doesn't know, and truly has a heart of gold. In addition to the physical recovery, Ben will also have to cope with the trauma of being involved in a fatal car crash, through no fault of his own. Please help out this beautiful family during their time of need. News article about Ben's wreck
