Hi, my name is Glen. I need your help today to uplift a truly exceptional individual, a funny, sweet and amazing best friend of 30 years – Tiffany! Tiffany has been a superstar in the hospitality industry for what feels like an eternity! With her boundless passion for all things food, wine, and spirits, She's earned countless awards, accolades and leadership recognition! Her knowledge is so extensive that even the most seasoned industry professionals are impressed. She is one of the best at representing a brand or a culture wherever she works. She has held different positions in many hospitality settings including upscale, fine dining, wine-focused events and luxury hotel food and beverage all in Florida. She has been a prideful employee in management, training/ implementing training standards and further development of staff. But life threw Tiffany a curveball a couple/a few years ago when she tragically lost her beloved mom at the hands of negligence in a Nursing home/rehab facility. It shattered her heart, broke her as a person and (as she says) dimmed her shine permanently. She took what she had hoped would be a temporary hiatus from work in late 2024. Despite the overwhelming pain and depression, Tiffany continued to work part-time within her beloved field, proving her resilience and dedication to her craft. However, the financial hardships she faced took a toll, and she now finds herself caught in an unfortunate cycle. To make ends meet, Tiffany has been working tirelessly as a driver, but the daily pay barely covers her bills. This situation has left her unable to commit to any new job due to the transition from cash pay to paycheck (tips on a paycheck). She is starting as part of the opening team at a new concept next month which is a perfect fit for her. She deeply misses the connection she had with guests and co-workers. However, the eventual tips will be on her paycheck so again she will have to keep driving to keep some money coming in which is crucially time sensitive. Currently, Tiffany is struggling to keep up with her car and rent payments, and the worry of repossession and eviction looms like a dark cloud over her life. But here's the silver lining - her landlord has been incredibly understanding and supportive, showering her with patience, generosity and care. However, we know that this kindness can only go so far for so long. Donations will go directly to catching her up on delinquent rent and car payment balances. She pays what she can almost daily to both, but is still behind. We can't stand idly by while a hospitality genius like Tiffany faces such tough times!
