Hello, my name is Heather Fowler and I am a first time mom to my one month old baby girl, River and girlfriend to a hard working and wonderful partner and father, Trevor. Like many families we live check to check but have always done well to provide for ourselves and to keep our bills paid. Unfortunately we currently have found ourselves in a situation where we are temporarily unable to financially take care of ourselves. As I mentioned, we have a new baby in our family and because of that I have been out of work since a week before she was born leaving Trevor to be the sole bread winner in a home where two incomes are almost necessary to keep things going. We did save up a small nest egg in preparation for her arrival and because of that we have been able to manage up until now because on the evening of 7/10/23 Trevor was involved in a motorcycle accident that could have easily cost him his life. Thankfully he survived the accident but he was far from unscathed. He suffered a broken and displaced collar bone(that is going to require surgery), 5 broken ribs and road rash over a large portion of his body rendering him unable to work his construction job and therefore unable to continue to pay the bills. To top it off I his injuries make him incapable of fully caring for our child so I could go back to work immediately either so therefore we find ourselves in a very difficult situation. The doctor's say it'll be a two month minimum for recovery time before he is healed up and strong enough to go back to his work. Having shared all of this information let me also say that I have always been a very independent and self sufficient person so asking other people, especially strangers, for help is a very difficult thing for me to do but I have not been able to think up any other viable options currently so here I am. If any of you have the extra provisions you can part with and are willing to give them to my family to help us stay on top of our mounting pile of bills then I am throwing myself upon the hopes for your generosity. We are only trying to make it through the next couple months and in our situation every little bit helps. If you can contribute then thank you so much and praise God for your generosity but if not then I pray God blesses you either way.
