As many of you know Emma and Charlotte work for us here at the Fox and Crown and if you aren’t aware there family have really been tested recently please read below: Harvey (Emma & Bal’s son and Charlotte’s Brother) is a 14 year old who has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. After Emma trusted her mothers instincts and took Harvey to QMC A&E a few weeks ago due Harvey struggling to swallow food or drink properly, After 1 night of being admitted they were told the news no one wants to hear which was that Harvey had cancer. They have been stuck in hospital waiting for results from his biopsy which have now been confirm that Harvey has lymphoblastic lymphoma. Lymphoblastic lymphoma is a cancer of immature lymphocytes, cells of the immune system, called lymphoblasts. It is a form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Lymphoblastic lymphoma primarily affects children and accounts for about 35% of all non-Hodgkin lymphomas in children. Harvey started chemo Wednesday last week and is absolutely beasting everything thrown at him. He has many rounds off chemo to go over what could be months or even years and we are sure he will beast these too! We want to show our love to Harvey, Emma, Bal and Char, by doing what we can and we thought we would put this page together and funds can then be used to either relieve everyday pressures, a lovely family trip or even a new Xbox game for Harvey!
