Hey everyone, some of you may know about my recent pelvic health crises after a trip to the emergency department last june and since then I have had to quit my job and move back into my family home since I couldn't support or care for myself properly. I finally managed to book in for my hysterectomy after a year of struggling with severe endometriosis pain and other gynaecological issues. It has been a very rough and painful year of endless doctors visits where my symptoms were disregarded as doctors are often confused about transgender healthcare until I found my surgeon. It was very heartbreaking, being so badly let down by the medical system that i relied on just on the account of me being a trans man. I initially wanted a hysto like most other trans masculine people for gender affirming reasons but the circumstances around my hysto are mainly for pain relief from my endometriosis and severe PMDD symptoms and other intimate gynaecological conditions. I know with inflation and the cost of living going through the roof these days everyone is struggling so any little donation or boost would be greatly helpful. It has been extremely challenging transitioning without the support of family as a migrant person of colour. And now due to the nature of this surgery and it's very long recovery period, I will be unable to look for work for months. I will be unable to study as well. Any donations will help me get my life back on track as the hysterectomy is meant to help with my debilitating pain and get me back in uni and continue the rest of my life as I've been bedridden for months. Alongside the fees for the surgery, my recovery will require lots of physiotherapy, mental health counselling, and physical accommodations like back support, cushions, and etc. With your help I may be able to recover properly and come back to at least some form of my normal health and strength. I really look forward to entering back into society and I miss being actively involved in the community so please consider sharing or donating! Any form of contribution is highly appreciated. Surgery has been booked for end of this month, so it's pretty soon! Thank you for your time!
