Hi everyone! On Friday, July 14th our friend Gregg Robbins went to Sanford Hospital to have surgery to fix the deviated septum but had severe difficulty waking up from the anesthesia. It took him approximately 2 1/2 hours to start to wake up when it should normally take around 15 minutes. For those that have not been able to visit him, he has experienced complete memory loss and has some weakness on his left side. What was to be a routine in-and-out procedure has now turned into a very scary situation and doctors are uncertain when things will return to normal. His wife Julie has been by his side as much as possible while also managing to keep their Pinch & Pour business open and care for their little granddaughter. Everyone that knows Gregg, knows what kind of man he is and who he lives for. His passion in life is to serve Jesus and be in the ministry. He's told me a thousand times how much he is called to minister to men. Just this Monday morning, while you'd think things can't get much worse his heart stopped and the doctors and nurses had to resuscitate him. After that scare, he wrote down in his notepad that Jesus told him that it isn't his time to go and that he has a lot of work to do! Wow!! His memory isn't what it was but he sure does remember who he serves and why. He just wants to serve God's people! Right now, Greggs way of trying to remember things is by scribbling notes down in his notebook so that if he hears your name and sees your face he can associate them and arrive at a logical conclusion. The cool thing about this is, for each person that he meets in his hospital room he will write their name down with a little snip about how he sees their character. He shared his notepad with us last night and we saw the names and the notes after each one. Each of those is very precious. Crazy! He can't remember your name but he knows your heart. Since Gregg and Julie run their own business, things are growing incredibly tough to manage with Gregg being in the hospital and now the uncertainty of when he will be able to physically contribute. This is where we come in. Please consider coming alongside him and his wife in their time of need and help financially. All funds will go directly to Gregg and Julie Robbins.
