Our dear friend Gwen Lacount needs our help and support. On Thursday night she lost her home, car and the love of her life, Jim, in a house fire. For those who don't know her, Gwen is an amazing lady. A spit fire. She is also someone who will help anyone in need. Now is our turn to help her. Gwen is a mother of two adult special needs children that live at home, she is the caregiver for two elderly parents and also for her blind brother. The car that was destroyed in the fire is the only transportation to get everyone to numerous medical appointments. Gwen has let me know that right now they are plenty of clothing donations and food. And will let all of us know what she needs when she has time to sit and think. Right now funds are needed. Let's show Gwen and her family what community is all about. Shine on her and her family is this time of darkness. Any and all help is much appreciated and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
