About a month & a half ago we started to notice Grayson’s left eye drifting. Thinking it was just a lazy eye, we saw his pediatrician. After two referrals, 3 office visits, & an exam under anesthesia at Primary Children’s, he was diagnosed with Coats Disease in his left eye. It’s rare, affecting only 1 in 200,000 with 75% being male. With no known cure, he has a long road of laser & injection treatments ahead of him to preserve his eye & whatever vision he still has. We are determined to do everything in our power to get him the best care possible. We are currently working to get him in with a specialist in Baltimore who has a background in treating Coats patients. Any funds received will go towards Grayson’s treatment & the expenses of traveling to & from these appointments. We’re grateful for any & all help. #FightForGraysonsSight #CoatsDisease
