Hey ya’ll, Dad here. I will be quick and to the point. The state turned down my son Graham Palmer for replacement hearing aids. We have appealed the decision and got rejected. His current hearing aids are past the threshold of replacement and he needs new ones ASAP. Most know, but for those that may not, Graham was born with Norrie Syndrome. Norrie’s is a disease that affects only a small percentage of blind individuals. You start to lose your hearing to accompany your already complete blindness. Ultimately becoming deaf as well. It’s degenerative. We don’t know how long he will be able to hear so I’m doing whatever I can to get these hearing aids. Pride is out the window for me here. I’m just putting this here with no expectations on anyone. If you can help, then awesome and we appreciate it. If you can’t, please just pray for our son and prolonged hearing as much as can be. I hope you don’t think less of me for this. Graham deserves every ounce of effort I have in my soul.
