All proceeds raised by this page will go to the Fisher House Foundation. Our Lighting Family lost a precious hero on April 26, 2012. Army Specialist Jason K. Edens was the beloved son of Jim and Jan Edens (Jim is the manager of Hermitage Lighting Gallery in Nashville, TN). He was also brother and friend to JR Edens (JR is Regional Manager of Gexpro). Jason was wounded on April 15th, 2012 while fighting during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. When his family got the call that he had been injured and was at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, they flew to Germany to be at his side. They were provided food, clothing, transportation and shelter by the Fisher House Foundation. At a time when the family could have had many worries and concerns, the Fisher House Foundation allowed them to focus only on Jason. All they had to do was get on the plane. Later, when Jason was transferred back to the U.S. to be treated at Walter Reed in Maryland, the family was again assisted by the Fisher House Foundation.Jason was a hero. He was an infantryman who bravely joined the U.S. Army in 2009. He was a highly decorated soldier who served this country proudly. More than that, he was a beloved son and brother. His death was a tragedy, but through his loss, the Edens family found out about the Fisher House Foundation. In finding out about the foundation, the Edens family found renewed Hope, Love and Purpose. The kindness of the volunteers and staff of Fisher House has not and will never be forgotten by the Edens or our Lighting Family. The Fisher House Foundation makes it possible for the families of our Wounded Heroes to be close to their loved ones while they are healing. More than that, the foundation allows family members to focus on their wounded loved ones without concerns about food, transportation, lodging, or even clothing and toiletries. The Fisher House Foundation is a network of homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a wounded loved one receives treatment. These homes are located at major military and VA medical centers through out the nation and abroad. The Fisher House Foundation ensures that there is never a lodging fee. Since inception, the foundation has covered an estimated $282 million of what families would have paid out of pocket for lodging and transportation, but they need help to do what they do for our heroes! Please help Golden Lighting in supporting this great organization!100% of all funds raised on this page will go to the Fisher House Foundation .Golden Lighting will also contribute a portion of all purchase orders received from November 2nd through Veterans Day (November 11th) in Honor of Jason Edens, all Veterans, and the families that serve with them. Please act now! Funds will be presented to The Fisher House Foundation  on December 4th. We are so thankful to be able to assist this organization and grateful to be a part of this great Lighting Family! Many Thanks and Many Blessings, -Steve Falk and the Golden Lighting Team
