Hello , my name is Melvin Montgomery. Most of you know me as Iggy. This is one of the hardest things I've ever done. As most of you know ow . I have been fighting back and neck pain for a long time now. Thi was all found due to a headache that I still have after 6 years. It's a type of migraine that stays constant. It lightens up and gets to where I about fall to my knees in pain . The pain management specialist says that it stems from damage to my neck and lower back . I am currently on injections that are slowly starting to help. Here's the problem, I have had both my neruoligist and pain management specialist tell me that I should be on disability and not work for the rest of my life. The damage is severe. With the treatment program I am on. I get monthly injections to help rebuild the damage. But it's not working like it should because I have to work all the time. This is to stay on top of my bills and medical costs . At work I can take 3 months off for short term disability. But it only pays so much. It's hurting me to ask this . This isn't me , I have always been the one to help . Never ask for it. If I can raise enough to supplement my short term disability pay. I will be able to take the time off . Get the full benefit of the program and maybe be without pain . To stop this never-ending headache and get back to being me . I have stepped away from a lot of the things I love to do . Away from my friends and family because of the pain . So I thought that if a woman that put glue in her hair or the kid that put his hands in cement could get donations. Someone who wants to continue to work should be able to meet a goal. I thank you all for your time in reading this and helping me if you can. Thank you
