I am writing this from a difficult time in our family, seeking for help in the generosity of others. Hi my name is Lizbeth Sandoval, I am the sister of Julio Sandoval. He always has had the kindest heart, always gave to others, and has the smile and humor to bright up any room. Julio was a dedicated college student. He couldn’t wait until he got out of college and pursue his goals of becoming an Aerospace Mechanic. At 18 years old, on March 24, 2024, his life completely switched around. He was coming home from Victor Valley College. He was involved in a fatal car accident almost costing him his life. He was automatically airlifted to Loma Linda as the trauma from car accident was fatal. Once arrived at Loma Linda after accessing his injuries he was told it was probable that he wasn’t going to walk again due to his injuries. His injuries were fractured eye sockets, fractured cheekbones, fractured nose, fractured ribs, punctured lungs, a shattered elbow, a broken thumb and a compressed (broken) spine. It is also believed by the doctor that he had received brain damage. Due to his injury he should not be able to move anything below the shoulders and is now considered quadriplegic. Miraculously he survived the car accident however this car accident has placed an immeasurable emotional toll on my family. Julio has been in the intensive care unit and has constantly had numerous doctors appointments, surgeries and test done on him. Recently he is working against all odds and started moving his arms and fingers. Thankfully therapists were able to find traces of very weak, small movements on his leg just very recently. Julio requires intensive therapy, to preserve any movement and also any medical expenses needed to help Julio. With heartfelt sincerity and utmost humbleness, I ask you to share the link with anyone desirable, family or friends, to put him in your prayers, and to consider any financial assistance. Any amount that you can spare is beyond appreciated for. With Great Regards -Lizbeth Sandoval
