Hi, my name is Natalie and I am creating this page for my mom. On March 8th, 2024, I received a call from my mom, Ginger Bullman that I never expected to receive. While performing blood work for an unrelated issue, the doctors had discovered something abnormal in her blood. The doctors stated that she possibly had Leukemia or Lymphoma. A few days later she got her official diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). After spending a little over a month at Mission Hospital in Asheville receiving chemotherapy treatments she was found to be in remission. Based on her recent tests she continues to be in remission several weeks later now. She had a consultation with the medical staff at Duke University Medical Center and based on her test results and recommendations from the medical staff she has elected not to receive a bone marrow transplant. She now faces another five years of being closely monitored along with several medications to keep the cancer from returning. As you can imagine, the costs of these medications add up greatly and are not always completely covered by insurance. Our family would greatly appreciate anything that you might be able to give to help my mom along on this journey and lower the financial burden. Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
