Everyone that knows Nick knows he loves Kassiopi... Every year for the past 30 years my mum and Nick have had such lovely times there making amazing memories shared with lots of family and friends... This year Nick has unfortunately really struggled with his health and ended up in hospital unable to travel home due to lack of oxygen and struggling to breathe... After two weeks in the hospital and a lot of examinations, stress and pressure, the insurance company has agreed to start the repatriation process to bring Nick Nick home to us all... As he is not well enough to fly home on a commercial flight this means they are flying out medical assistant in a private plane so Nick is taken by ambulance from Corfu Hospital directly to the airport, medically assisted on a small air ambulance plane to UK, picked up from Birmingham airport by ambulance and taken straight to Warwick hospital, where we hope and pray he fights his way back to better health and eventually come home... Even though it is great news that this process has started the insurance company has now stated that they are going to charge Mum and Nick 28% of the total bill on top of the very high premium they took out... This is devastating that a company would expect this from individuals in such a predicament and just another knock for both my mum and Nick. I know both my mum and Nick as well as all that care for him would be forever grateful for any support we can receive, to help bring him back home and provide the necessary care he needs to get better... Your contributions will mean so much and help lessen the already massive load on them both... I know we all love our Nick Nick and I know we will all do what we can... Thank you so much for reading and let's pray this can help him get back to the UK and get better... xxx
