Hello everyone, I start this off by saying PLEASE **DO NOT** tell my parent about this. I never thought I'd be setting up one of these, but here we are. I am setting up a small fundraiser to have finances ready for my parents to fly home when the time comes for my pappaw to pass. As some of you may or may not know, his health has been quickly declining. He has been wanting to keep things in the family but with circumstances being what they are, we have started to let friends and family fully know the situation. Pappaw is a Army Veteran and all of his medical expenses are essentially covered by his VA insurance. We thank God that there is no hardship there. However, we don't have the extra money to get my parents on a plane within a 24 notice. My parents have been going through their own financial hardships due to their own medical issues...It has been a rough year to say the least. So, to be ready and able to help ease some of their burden, I am raising money for them to be able to fly home when the time comes for my pappaw to pass and also for them to have some financial cushion while away from work during that time. Money raised for this will be set aside for my parents and given to them when the time comes for them to have to travel home. My family and I greatly thank you for any and all money raised as well as any prayers of comfort.
