Dear friends, family, coworkers, and community members, This page was created in support of George Raymondo and the Raymondo family on behalf of American Financial Network, Inc. of which George has been a deeply dedicated and valued employee for 19 years. Initially diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2019, George has tirelessly sought solutions to this disease while battling symptoms and trying to maintain the strength to help provide for his wife and young daughter. After years of treatment, it was recently discovered George was misdiagnosed. They were devastated to learn that George suffers from Multiple system atrophy (MSA), an aggressive and fast-progressing degenerative neurological disorder similar to Parkinson's. As you might imagine, the struggles of continuing to work while fighting a disease, undergoing treatments, traveling in and out of hospitals, and paying exorbitant medical bills have taken their toll and made it challenging for George to support his family. George is now pursuing private stem cell treatment at Innate Healthcare Insitute in Pheonix, AZ taking him over 1,056 miles from his home and community. The cost of the 1.2 billion stem cells needed is $26,000. While George has now received 500M stem cells, he runs the risk of being unable to participate in the second phase of this treatment (scheduled for August) due to increasing financial hardship. George has dedicated his life to his friends, family, coworkers, and country. Most recently, George participated in a clinical trial seeking to help understand and eventually cure diseases such as Parkinson’s, MS, ALS, Dementia, and Alzheimer's through Mesenchymal Stem Cells. Ever the fighter, George was also recently accepted into the Parkinson's Voice Project, a program dedicated to helping those diagnosed with Parkinson’s (and related movement disorders) regain and retain their speech while helping to minimize swallowing complications.
