Hi, my name is Jo and I’m fundraising to help my granddaughter and her recovery. On Wednesday 13 July 2024 my daughter and her partner took their two-year-old for an ultrasound to find out why she had a hard lump/possible enlarged spleen. They were rushed to the emergency immediately and transferred to a children's hospital where she has been looked after by the oncology team. It has been a week with the unknown with a case that baffled Doctors, however, they now know what it is and know what the next few months will look like. Their lives have been turned upside down and forever changed. The next few months are going to be very long for them. They are a sole-income family with Jake working Fly-in-fly-out and Jasmyn having recently getting a business up and running while raising their two daughters (They also have a 6-month-old). Jasmyn will be putting her business on pause entirely. Jasmyn will be hiring a nutritionist, getting RGCC testing, house water filters and using the best methods alongside Aiya’s oncologist team to ensure the best possible life outcome. To assist with the cost of hiring integrative health professionals, getting further testing done and as well as Jake taking some time off work I have started this go-fund-me. Just the RGCC test and nutritionist alone will be $6,000. Aiya is the sweetest toddler, she has remained so happy during this hard time.
