Hi everyone! My name is Lynette! One of my very good friends, Gary Pitts, is very sick with Stage 4 cancer. He is an AWESOME human being. Selfless, kind, Loving, and compassionate to all. Please keep him in prayer… He shared a story with me that happened at his last doctor's appointment that I would like to share with you. He was in the reception area waiting to go in. There was a woman there in the waiting area crying. He asked if there was something he could do to help. She explained that the office staff had screwed up her appointment and her job was giving her a hard time about taking time off and she could not come later as the office staff had requested. She also stated that she did not get paid for the time she takes off. He went to the office staff and asked if it would be okay for him to give this woman his appointment and agreed to take the later appointment, which was the following week. He had expressed that was feeling really awful that day too. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! He is a very private person and did not want anyone to know of his suffering. I had to literally yell at him that I was going to start this fundraiser for him and there were no if's, and's or but's about it. He has been unable to work for the past couple of months due to his illness which needs urgent intervention. He is very sick, and his treatment is too costly for his family and loved ones to pay for alone. Most of it is not covered by his medical insurance. The treatment that he has decided to seek is out of the country. He will have medical, travel, and living expenses. He has a very supportive and loving daughter, son-in-law, grandson, an 18-year-old son starting college in a few weeks, and his faithful companion Husky, Hunter, and a home. I am appealing to the hearts and kindness of those of you that know and Love him and also to the Samaritans that do not, to help his family and I raise $150,000. I have a lot of faith in GOD, and confidence in our magnanimous family and friends. We ask that you show your support and invite you to please donate. Any funds donated will help save Gary's life. We humbly and sincerely appreciate you all and the support.
