Gary My Husband, Rheanna, Blade, Kayin and Kadie Lou's Dad. Sadly 2 weeks ago we thought we was going to lose him from Pneumonia. He had a 1% chance but he is still here. Sadly though, we were also told after his CT scan that they had found lung cancer. We returned today to be informed that it is stage 3/4 terminal cancer, although potentially, if the pneumonia fully clears he can have a biopsy, but that comes with high risk of fatality during procedure. Even if they do the procedure they will not offer any surgery, and even if they offer chemotherapy that could also be more of a risk. The only other thing that we can do know is alternative therapies, but the clinic we have researched is over 200 miles away. This will mean a round trip 3 times a week and a £200 per week cost. We know know it's hopeful and all we want is extra time with him and make it as comfortable and pain free and hopefully any good days once he recovers from the Pneumonia we can make memories as a family. Gary as like no one else doesn't deserve this horrible disease, he has had enough poor health with his heart, he survived two quadruple bypass surgeries and is a true fighter. Gary wants to still see many things. His Grandson grow, his Daughters get married, his Daughters 16th Birthday his Sons 18th, his other Sons life there is so much more. Our story cannot end here, even if the hospital cannot do any more we as a family will do all we can. All we can think now is to create memories as a family and with friends as ultimately , we don't know what time we have left with him.
