On October 26th, 2015, we all said goodbye to Zander Ortega only 6 days after his 4th birthday. It is every parent's worst nightmare to take every precaution when behind the wheel, to have each and every child's safety properly assured and yet despite all of that to be face to face with a situation tragically unavoidable.The Ortega Family is in need of assistance. They are now faced with not only the pain and suffering of saying goodbye to their child, but are now faced with paying for funeral expenses, legal fees, as well as all the other costs that are stacking up due to this tragic loss of a child's life that had barely even begun. We have started this fund to assist them during this time. Any amount would truly help as they fight their way through this grieving process and manage their way through the hardship of laying a child to rest.Zander was an extremely smart and sweet child. He was full of so much laughter and light and our lives will never be the same without him. Zander was my nephew and he touched lives all over Texas. I started this campaign in an effort to raise funds for the Ortega family to cover their medical costs, funeral costs, and legal fees as they start their journey down this difficult road ahead. All funds go directly to the mother and father Samantha Supkow and Gabe Ortega. We appreciate everyone's support and help during this difficult time and it is amazing to watch all of this love and support for this little boy that was so full of determination and laughter.
