Hello, As much as I hate to be doing this and asking for help, I’m in a horrible situation. My mother was admitted to the hospital on Sunday 7/23 for mini strokes and was released on 7/25. She went home still feeling very unwell and complaining of headaches. I became very worried so I went to pick her up the following day and she was still feeling very bad. I brought her to a doctors appointment with me and when we got home she became unresponsive. I knew this was going to happen. We called 911 and she was rushed to CMC and the immediately med flighted her to Boston medical center. She had a major stroke and is now in for a long long recovery. We are not sure of the outcome at this point and have no clue what we are in for as far as recovery goes. All of us children are doing our best to stay by her side but Boston is very far and hotels are very expensive, not to mention the medical bills she is about to get. I hate asking for help but at this point I’m not sure how we’re going to be able to afford travel and the things she needs.
