Andrea Mayeski has had a very difficult year. Andrea is the mother of two children, Madison, age 11, and Owen, age 3. Andrea was married to her beloved husband Adam for 13 years, but lost him to colon cancer on Sept. 6, 2024, at the age of 36. Andrea has been supporting herself and her two children by working full-time. On July 18th Andrea and Madison were in a horrific car accident and they were both life-flighted to Hershey Medical Center. Madison suffered minor injuries. Andrea underwent a 10-hour surgery to try to save her left predominant arm and hand, which were crushed in the accident. She has been heavily sedated due to the severity of her wounds. She has three open wounds and wound vacs on her arm as well. One main nerve in her arm has been completely damaged, but we are believing that God will heal and restore her arm to full operational usage. Andrea is going to require extensive healing and rehabilitation once she comes home. She and her children will be moving into her parents' home, due to her needing help to care for herself and her children. Her parents may need to add onto the family home to accommodate an additional family of three. Andrea will also be faced with large medical bills and will be unable to work for an extended period of time. Please keep Andrea, her children and her family in prayer. Thank you!
