As most of the friends and family arriving at this page already know, Brian was cut-off by a car on Alcoa Highway on 10-24-15 while driving his motorcycle, which collided at speed with the car and broke lots of critical things in our dear friend. As of this writing, he is recovering relatively well, but he has a long road to wellness ahead of him and will likely need some degree of financial support to ensure that his bills get paid.We don't yet know how things are going to play out with medical bills and insurance (the other driver is clearly at fault, but we don't know yet if they were even insured), so that may or may not be a factor in all of this. The $5000 target goal shown here is sort of splitting the difference between just paying for utilities and medical bill disaster. We'll update this campaign to reflect the needs of his situation as they become known.Thanks so much to everyone for their various and generous forms of support, Brian is deeply appreciative of it all.
