My name is Barry Andres. I am long time friends with Diana Carbonell and Sean Maryott who have owned The Fritz Creek General store for many years. The historic Fritz Creek General Store had a destructive fire inside this morning July 6, 2024. This building has served as a community center and a beloved gathering place, store, and incredible deli for many years and is a piece of the fabric of the Homer community. In an effort to help unforeseen costs and financial support for the staff moving forward, these funds will be used to support unfunded needs for the staff in their time of loss. Sean and Diana and all the wonderful staff are the folks that make Fritz Creek such a lively, friendly, and enjoyable place to stop by, mail packages, eat a nibble, pick up to-go food, gas up or just to visit.
