Hello…Now setting things like this up is never easy I really have no other choice at this point for the situation my mom and I unfortunately are in. We have lived in our current apartment for almost 10 years; Last year we got a new Land Lord for our apartment, the complex is only made of 3 apartments and my mom and I stay in one of them. This woman and her husband claimed that the transition from our previous land lord to them would be smooth and comfortable. She very much lied. They moved to the unit underneath us and choose to make it as uncomfortable as possible for my mom and I since their arrival. They took away our one car garage and wanted to charge us $300 a month to keep it when we have had it free all this time, then they took away half of our patio area/back yard to put the trash cans in because they claimed other people were throwing their trash away in our cans, and now they the started claiming our dogs were becoming an issue. They have been emailing us and harassing us since January claiming our dogs who have lived with us for the past 9 years have been barking excessively which is false because I do work from home and are with them 80% of the time. This woman went ahead and reported them to the Burbank shelter and keeps sending us violations; this past week was the worst email we got by far from this woman. Which I also strongly believe her actions have racism and elderly abuse behind them because she very much knows that she is able to bully my mom but not me. The email we received from her was a straight threat of removing our dogs in thirty days and ultimately removing us from our apartment. Leaving my mom and I numb and disbelief. We also feel her actions are because she would ultimately like a friend or family of hers to move in to our apartments leaving my mom and I no where to go. But this GoFund me is more in hopes to get help finding a nice place for my mom to live in peace. I’m not concerned about my own living situation in which I can handle. If you know my mom she is the sweetest, kindest, selfless, and loving person ever. All I want is my mom to have her own home for her and her dogs and not have the fear of someone harassing her or possibly causing her harm. Please if you can help I would greatly appreciate. This is for my mom and everyone knows she’s my world and doesn’t deserve to be treated like this or have to live uncomfortably.
