Hello everyone, my name is Kim Harvey-Marose many of you already know me. I am doing a Fundraiser for my dear friend Kimberlee Johnson and her sweet baby boy Cohl Johnson. On July 14th after another trip to the emergency room Cohl was found to have an 8cm mass on the back side of his brain. The mass was pushing against his spinal cord and blocking the normal flow of CSF. He was rushed to Sacred Heart Childrens Hospital. He then went in for surgery the following day. He was found to have a tumor as well as a fluid filled cyst. They removed the tumor and what they could safely of the cyst. He currently has a drain placed that is draining the fluid that still remains in his brain. Cohl will go in for another surgery this Thursday the 20th. The Surgeon will place a permanent Shunt so the drain can come out and they can ensure the proper flow of his CSF (Cerebrospinal fluid). Mr Cohl will have a long road of recovery ahead him. If you know Cohl, then you know he is the kindest, loving, and most silly little boy. he is a Mamma's boy through and through. That being said, his mom is needing some help. She is a single mom to Cohl and the sole provider for him. She’s doing this on her own and trying to ensure the best for Cohl. Being away from work is going to hit her hard both while in the hospital and once discharged as he will have regular scans and therapy appointments as well as basic rehabilitation at home so the amount of time she will be off work is currently unknown. Anything helps to keep the bills paid, cover travel, and housing costs while in Spokane. We need to get Cohl all the necessities he will need to thrive once discharged. Kimberlee is the mother of three amazing kids. She is a super mom who has made many sacrifices for her babies. Her children are her world and would do anything for them. Thank you for your help.
