I'm currently here in Maine spending time with my sister Bonnie and her family. After a five-year battle with stage four liver cancer, she's begun home hospice care. To say I'm devastated doesn't begin to scratch the surface. Those who know me know Bonnie has been my best friend since college, always there for me during some of my worst times, with part of every summer spent together in either Maine or California. I know many of you have been lucky enough to meet her at some point. And if you have met her, you know exactly what I mean. In addition to all the sadness we are feeling, there is a ridiculous amount of medical bills that her husband Dana is dealing with. So with Bonnie's blessing, I'm starting this fundraiser to assist her husband with that. There's more I'd like to express, but this probably isn't the place or the time to do so. Just please keep Bonnie, and all of us, in your thoughts right now.
