Hi, my name is Benny and I’m fundraising for my camera equipment that was recently stolen while coming out of a photoshoot in the Beverly Hills/Beverly wood area. I was reaching to my car door when suddenly a group of young men almost teenager looking in hoodies came out and pointed a gun at me to hand them over everything I had. I had my camera bag and laptop in a tote bag and my lenses which were in my backseat. I had invested about $15k in my equipment a brand new camera that I had just gotten a month ago. My dream camera I’m torn by this whole situation and the fact that young teens are in our neighborhoods risking their life’s and quick to take someone else’s life for material things is just tragic. I work my ass off for everything that I own. I’m deeply moved by this whole situation but lucky that I am still here alive. I pray that these men are in gods hands and that this stops at some point.
