As I'm sure those of you who know him and are reading this already know, Joe played a gig recently at Retro Bar and the sound guy ran phantom power through the DI output of his DarkGlass Alpha Omega 900, which wrecked the output stage. The venue has offered no help, nor compensation, and did not have insurance. The reality is that this could be a very, very costly repair. For more years than he'd likely care to admit (we're all old now) Joe has been one of the absolute hardest working people in the UK extreme metal scene, both playing and promoting and every job in between. He's saved countless shows by stepping up at the eleventh hour to run them, has filled in for band members, has organised what feels like a million tours, all to make sure our scene here thrives. It would be wonderful if we could help him out a little, especially seeing as he's fallen on this hard time through no fault of his own. Thank you. Update: target nearly doubled in under an hour... A true testament to how well liked and respected Joe is. Thank you for all your donations so far!
