We are Brian and Rosalyn Goe (Mcdowell your Jones-Samuels)we both are 65 years old, retired, along with our daughter and grandson, woke up to voices telling us to get out of the house, “your house is on fire, so we ran out with what we had on our person. A passerby and neighbors tried their best to extinguish the fire but it continued to spread into the garage and bed room. everyone’s OK but we lost just about everything in the home , with the garage being totally destroyed . Home was halfway destroyed, we have very little left. We Lost clothing, tools,some furniture , grandchildren’s belongings and so much more. It’s hard to even remember all that we had. We’ve been here for a little over a year. In our wildest dreams, we would have never imagined something so drastic to happen like this. You never know what people go through until it happens to you. Any donations received will be used towards temporary housing and regaining as much as possible of our belongings. it won’t be the same as losing property of sentimental value, such as our photos and other personable items. But with the grace of God and the kindness of a passerby who banged on our door which woke us up, our family was able to get out safely. Never thought we would be in this predicament. We thank the Lord above for blessing us with our lives. God is good❤️❤️
