Finding Rainbows is now in crisis, sadly due to the stop of commissioning and the lack of funding available. This means that soon we may not have the funds to run our hub, continue groups, and support the numerous projects that we currently run within the community. We are working with numerous entities to try to prevent this, however, we are asking the communities that we have supported to help us now to continue this work. Finding Rainbows was begun in memory of Kaiden, by myself Natalie. This was to help support other bereaved parents after I found the social taboo and lack of support in my heartbreaking journey. Finding Rainbows has grown since the day it began and it is devastating to say, that it may not be able to continue to support families and individuals who experience their loss or loss of a baby or child. We are aiming to raise £22,000 which would help us to keep our doors open for the next 12 months this will aid us in continuing to fund our projects, running the projects and so much more that we do behind the scenes. We need to be able to fund our counselling rooms for those accessing counselling services alongside the hub where we run our peer support sessions from. Finding Rainbows has been told by those we support, third sector services, and primary care services that we are a vital part of the community offering a unique service from a lived experience perspective. Sadly without community support and more funding, we will not be able to continue this.
