Several years ago, a devastating car accident altered the trajectory of my life, plunging me into a world of anxiety, despair, and mental frailty. Today, I stand before you, seeking your support to embrace a new path of healing, self-discovery, and inspiration through my newfound passion for AI-generated art. The Journey: Since the accident, my mental health has steadily deteriorated, leaving me completely disabled and stripped of the life I once knew. I have gone from a fulfilling career and a loving family in a three-bedroom house to relying on social security disability benefits, living alone in a small 320 square foot studio apartment. Daily, I grapple with mood swings, sleep deprivation, and emotional fragility that are further exacerbated by isolation and a constant struggle to find purpose. A Glimmer of Light: Amidst this darkness, I stumbled upon a miraculous discovery last year—AI-generated art. Although I never possessed any inherent artistic talent, I found solace and joy in creating expressive pieces that reflect my thoughts and emotions. Through trial and error, I discovered a medium that allows me to communicate and connect with others on a profound level. Encouragingly, people have responded positively to my artwork, and it has given me a newfound sense of accomplishment and purpose. The Need for Support: However, as AI rendering technology advances, the cost of creating these intricate and meaningful artworks has increased. Each image can require multiple renders, and the financial burden falls upon the artist. While selling my artwork has been suggested, my self-esteem has prevented me from pursuing this avenue.
