Hello, My name is Rikiee and I am Deana’s little sister and we are trying to help raise some financial support for Deana. Deana had been experiencing terrible headaches and he Doctor kept telling her it was migraines. The headache got worse and worse over time. Deana was finally able to convince her Doctor that she needed an MRI done off her head. Deana was rushed to Regions Hospital after finding some spots on her Brain. We found out that evening that she had a Meningioma. We didn’t know how serious it was right away. Deana was rushed into a 7 hour surgery to remove the Meningioma. While in surgery they discovered it had spread and was in other parts of the brain. Since the surgery Deana has developed trimmers, numbness, and tingling of her feet. Also because of the amount of pressure and the location of the tumor Deana’s right eye and eyesight have been impacted. She is also now having to walk with a walker. We found out the Doctor wasn’t able to remove all of the tumor and it is a level 2 which means it’s an aggressive tumor. So Deana is required to do Radiation treatment (33 sessions) total. This is to fight any remaining tumor. Deana will unfortunately and sadly lose her hair from radiation. With all of this Deana wasn’t able to return to work and we are unsure at this time when she will be able to return to work. Yes she has insurance but we all know that doesn’t cover everything 100%. Deana still has bills and other expenses. Life doesn’t stop unfortunately. We asking family and friends to please find it in your hearts to help Deana get through these tough time that we know won’t last forever. Funds will be used to help Deana with medical expenses, groceries, rent, car note, etc. any and everything helps and is so greatly appreciated.
